Blue Gecko is a dynamic collective of professional visual artists known for its peaceful and supportive environment. It supports artists and creative entrepreneurs across mediums including ceramics, smithing, painting and sculpture. 

The studio is based on the edge of Salt River and Maitland at 4 Perth street - right in the heart of Cape Town’s creative hub.

Rentals includes Internet, utilities , safe street parking, 24/7 security, 2 shared communal kitchens, three bathrooms, large garage door access for deliveries and double doors which are all included in monthly rental.

Currently Studio 11 is a 50m² space with a large built in storage space and is ideal for hosting workshops. Rental is R7400/month. 1-month deposit. Month to month lease. 

Studio 9 is a 35m² space with a unique window into the kitchen. One of our dynamic studios it’s perfect for an artist or two who need dedicated space for their practice.  Rental is R4700/month. 1-month deposit. Month to month lease.
